WHY CHOOSE SUNDANCE

Turning and repositioning of patients is critical in providing proper skincare. Pediatric patients are unique in their positioning and offloading needs. The flexibility of Sundance’s fluidized positioners allows the caregiver to customize the positioning strategy to meet the needs of the pediatric patient. Sundance’s fluidized positioners are used to help the caregiver safely and effectively turn and reposition pediatric patients, as well as offload bony prominences while maintaining neutral body alignment. The unique fluidized medium provides the necessary support while contouring to the shape of the patient. Sundance’s fluidized positioners help the caregiver change the position while causing minimal disturbance to the patient.

Products are for single patient use.

  • Sundance’s fluidized positioners contouring capabilities minimize the harmful effects of friction, shear forces, and abnormal interface pressure on the patient.
  • Sundance’s fluidized positioners meet virtually all positioning needs throughout the patient’s stay.
  • The versatility of Sundance’s fluidized positioners may possibly eliminate the need for extra gel and foam positioning products. Due to their zero flow capability, Sundance’s fluidized positioners are an ideal medium for supporting the head without increasing pressure on the occiput.
  • Sundance’s fluidized positioners enable the caregiver to suspend or immerse the heels while redistributing pressure over larger, less vulnerable areas of the body.
  • The ease of use reduces training time and helps the caregiver to follow accepted protocols for patient positioning, as well as increasing caregiver safety.
  • The low thermal mass of the fluidized positioners enable the product to quickly assume the temperature of the surrounding environment.
  • Sundance’s fluidized positioners are Latex and DEHP free.
